Athena "Chickie" Ransom is the heart and soul of Vagabond Choppers in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. I had the distinct pleasure of spending a day with her, Don, and family. Chickie is self taught when it comes to wrenching on bikes but she is apply assisted by her long time friend and husband, Don. Currently she is on the road with the Chicks Rule, Boys Drool tour which highlights bikes, accessories, and knowledge aimed towards women bikers. Chickie is as down to earth as it gets and I am glad to have been able to spend some time with her and her family to be able to know them a little better.
