Watch a 650 HP Hennessey CTS-V Sport Wagon beat a Porsche 911 Turbo Since the moment I first saw a CTS-V Sport Wagon parked outside of the Hennessey headquarters in Sealy, Texas I knew a quarter-mile run video was coming. But a Porsche 911 Turbo versus a 650 HP Hennessey-tuned Caddy station wagon? Ridiculous.

There are details in this here YouTube video regarding the stature and qualifications of this fine automobile, but since most of you are going to skip ahead to the good part I'll summarize them here: in the left lane is a Hennessey V650 with an extra 100 or so horses under-hood and a pair of sticky drag radials and on the right is a Porsche 997 Turbo.

The tires definitely give the CTS-V an advantage, until you consider the Porsche weighs 1,000 pounds less than the wagon. Yet by the end of the 1/4 mile the Caddy's covered it in 11.7 seconds at 121 mph and the Porsche did it in just 11.8 seconds at the same speed (on the stock Michelin PS2s the wagon runs 12.0 seconds at 122, go figure).

Of course, yesterday was National Margarita Day and these are Hennessey's cars on Hennessey's track with one of Hennessey's guys in the GoPro-festooned Porsche so you should take the numbers with a thick rim of salt. Though, I should mention I've hit the same track in a different 911 Turbo and was running two-tenths slower than the Porsche seen here (it was a hot day, I had a big lunch, the sun was in my eyes, yada-yada-yada).

Also, it's a hefty mom-wagon that'll eat your buddy's 'Vette for lunch then pick the kids up from Tae Kwan Do practice, so shed your doubts long enough to enjoy the moment.
