I think that many parts of a custom bike look like an art piece if they are viewed in the appropropriate context. Take this chrome rim, for example. The total rim, while a beautiful piece of work, is not near as interesting as the concentric spokes radiating from the hub. I'm probably nuts, biased, just plain crazy. You take your pick. But I like it.
