I have been working on some photo techniques to transform a photo into a blend of a photo and a painting allowing for an aged grungy look.  While these all started out as standard photos, through the use of adjustments and filters, I have transformed them into a different look.  While not for everyone's taste, I do like the results.  I welcome other opinions....

The Rat's Hole Custom Bike Show invades the Leesburg Bikefest

Once again, the Leesburg Bikefest welcomes the World Famous Rat's Hole Custom Bike Show to Leesburg.  There will be 22 classes of bikes in the show.  They also host the very popular Miss Ratmate contest as well as a Tattoo Contest.  For more information on entering the contests you can check out http://www.ratshole.com/.

New Dates for the Leesburg Bikefest

Due to Mother's Day falling on the same date that the Leesburg Bikefest is normallly held, the Leesburg Partnership has changed the date for 2011 to be April 8-10, 2011.  The date will resume back to the normal date of the last full weekend in April after this year.  If you have never attended the Leesburg Bikefest, you should check it out as it is, by far, one of the premier events in the Southeast.  The town of Leesburg and the Leesburg Partnership do everything they can to make the event successful.  There are three straight days of music entertainment, bike shows, beauty contests, tattoo expos, and blocks and blocks of vendors.  The Rat's Hole will be back again with many bike shows, and contests.  The headliners for Friday night are Slaughter and Saturday night is Jackyl.  I saved the best part for last.  The entire event is free.  You are not charged one dime to enter the event.  You can check it out at http://www.leesburgbikefest.com/.

I've seen these crazy motorized bar stools around various events lately. These V8 powered monsters sound as bad as they look. Although I don't know how fast they are intended to go, I don't think that I want to find out myself. I like living too much. LOL....By the way, they are for sale for around $13,000 if you've got extra cheddar laying around just burin' a hole in your pocket.
